General Duties

General duties of an SDS Dental Assistant include preparing the dental exam room, sterilizing and setting up equipment. During appointments, dental assistants may take x-rays, hand dentists instruments, keep patients’ mouths dry, and teach patients about proper oral hygiene. On the administrative side, they maintain patient records, schedule appointments, and work with patients on billing and payment.

General Duties

As an Endodontist you are an expert in pain management. You have advanced training to be able to diagnose and treat tooth pain and additional procedures that relate to the interior of the tooth. Our Endodontists gear their treatments around saving diseased or traumatically injured teeth through standard or more complex root canal procedures. 

Daily tasks

  • Perform advanced procedures to treat dental pulp and save damaged teeth.
  • Address serious infections by performing surgery and removing serious infection below the gum line.
  • Repair cracked or knocked out teeth and replant in sockets. 
  • Maintain teeth that have received previous procedures.

Knowledge & Education

  • Education Requisites – Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) plus two to three years of specialized training with Endodontic Residency
  • Surgical Precision – Strong hand-eye coordination and a steady hand.
